Tube Furnace EQ-GSL-1100X11-III
:
is a precision bench-top 10.6" (270 mm) I.D Tube furnace. Quartz tube and Vacuum flanges with valves are pre-installed for immediate use. Three 30 segments programmable controllers are built in with S type thermal couple. Microprocessor-based PID control provides excellent control without overshooting and +/- 1
o
C accuracy. It is widely used for materials or chemical lab to sinter all types of new materials samples under vacuum or other gases condition and is an excellent furnace for annealing, diffusing and sintering sample in various atmospheres.
Furnace Structure: Double layer steel casing with air cooling. Two cooling fan inside to keep. temperature of outside case < 70ºC, Fibrous alumina insulation liner for maximum energy saving. Tube Materials: Quartz Tube,two ends opened. Tube Size: 11O.D x 10.6" I.D x 60" Length (216 mm x 208 mm x 1219mm).

Tube Furnace
is an electric heating device used to conduct syntheses and purifications of inorganic compounds and occasionally in organic synthesis. The usual design consists of a cylindrical cavity surrounded by heating coils, which are embedded in a thermally insulating matrix. The length of the cylindrical cavity is typically 40 – 60 cm, and the diameters are ca. 8 cm. Temperature is controlled via feedback from a thermocouple. More elaborate tube furnaces have two (or more) heating zones useful for transport experiments. Some digital controllers allow RS232 interface and permit the operator to program up to 126 segments, such as ramping, soaking, sintering, and more. Also, advances in materials for heating elements, such as molybdenum disilicide offered in certain models by Vecstar, can now produce working temperatures up to 1800 °C, which facilitate more sophisticated metallurgical applications.
The

was invented in the first decade of the 20th century and was originally used to manufacture ceramic filaments for Nernst lamps and glowers.
