DESCRIPTION

Tube Furnace EQ-GSL-1100X11-III : is a precision bench-top 10.6" (270 mm) I.D Tube furnace. Quartz tube and Vacuum flanges with valves are pre-installed for immediate use. Three 30 segments programmable controllers are built in with S type thermal couple. Microprocessor-based PID control provides excellent control without overshooting and +/- 1 ^oC accuracy. It is widely used for materials or chemical lab to sinter all types of new materials samples under vacuum or other gases condition and is an excellent furnace for annealing, diffusing and sintering sample in various atmospheres.Furnace Structure: Double layer steel casing with air cooling. Two cooling fan inside to keep. temperature of outside case < 70ºC, Fibrous alumina insulation liner for maximum energy saving. Tube Materials: Quartz Tube,two ends opened. The usual design consists of a cylindrical cavity surrounded by heating coils, which are embedded in a thermally insulating matrix. The length of the cylindrical cavity is typically 40 – 60 cm, and the diameters are ca. 8 cm. Temperature is controlled via feedback from a thermocouple. More elaborate tube furnaces have two (or more) heating zones useful for transport experiments. Some digital controllers allow RS232 interface and permit the operator to program up to 126 segments, such as ramping, soaking, sintering, and more.
